Sometimes, what you're really looking for can be right in front of you. While wine connoisseurs scour the globe for great vintages and bottles, the wines of Sonoma County have developed their own stellar reputation among both oenophiles and everyday people.
Director Mark Ryan introduces some of the key figures responsible for transforming Sonoma County from a region specializing in green beans and hops to a world-renowned source of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The film features interviews with some of the nation's top wine critics, a food pairing demonstration, a grape harvest and the winemaking process at one of Sonoma's most respected wineries.
