One of the seminal artists who helped bring Latin Music into the American mainstream is Grammy Award winner, Gloria Estefan. Her latest album, 90 Millas, refers to the 90 Mile distance between Cuba and southern Florida, a region that has become synonymous with Latin culture. At the core of this culture is its music, and Estefan's husband, Emilio, has captured on film the intimate details of the energy, emotion and hard work that go into the music-making process.

Latin music pioneers Chocolate Armenteros, Jose Feliciano and Carlos Santana reminisce about the early days of the Cuban Music cultural crossover, including stories and mini-biographies that provide a insider glimpse into these artists' lives, as the music featured throughout the documentary creates an even more personal connection to these stories.
